Prospective Colleges? Alma Matter?

I'm now a senior in high school and it's about time I start the process of paperwork for college. I've put it off as long as possible. I'm curious to see where people plan to be going/have been when it comes to colleges.

Post a college you're considering or you'd recommend and a few reasons why it appeals to you.

For me:
Notre Dame
Far from home, but not too far
Insanely open campus, sweet for just chilling, and it has a nice flow
Catholic
Good academics and respected
Good sports teams

Are those community colleges? I've never heard of them... but then again, I've never heard of 1/3 of the colleges out there.

BTW, are you planning on playing LAX in college?

Well yes they are community but i am transferring after 1 year. I might play lax it just depends on if i can build up on my injured areas. Appalachian State im surprised you never heard of it its one of the biggest party schools in the US.

Going to community college, get an AD in... something

then transferring to sac state, major in structural engineering

I plan on going to SCAD (The Savannah College Of Art And Design). It's really expensive, but they have the best animation program in the region. I want to be an animator and work for/with Pixar and/or Dreamworks. This would be the perfect place to go since the majority of the graduates there get a job in their career field after graduation and are able to work their way up. I'm praying that everything works out

. I've wanted to work for Pixar ever since I saw Toy Story when I was young.

Right on stkr. I have a buddy who does graphic animation and worked on the alvin and the chipmunks movie. He's got some sweet renders he's showed me.

I already attend Rutgers University
-Relatively close to home
-Huge campus (actually there are multiple campuses), tons of people (abt. 40,000 undergrads)
-Public school, so cheap for people who live in NJ
-Good academics and respected, lots of undergrad research available
-Good sports teams (Scarlet Knights FTW!)
-6 year Dr. of Pharmacy degree

UTSA

a big campus that is amazing.

The second largest of the University of Texas'

Plenty of intramural sports

Cheap

Only school in texas that has a Music Marketing Degree

In San Antonio so I can support my San Antonio Spurs as much as I can!

im going to a community then transfering up, it's cheaper and i get my prerequisites out of the way.

Community College is the way of the Future I suppose.

I'm in Miami Dade Kendall now, getting some credits and working my way from there. I'll probally transfer to FIU.

Even though I play to go to either Full Sail in Winter Park, FL or UCF around the Orlando/Tampa area.
