I miss the things
You use to say
That would run through my mind
All damn day.
I miss the things you use to do
Just to make me
Chase after you.
I miss the laughter.
I miss the pain.
I miss the jokes.
I miss the games.
I miss the way we use to say
"I love you"
Each and everyday.
I miss the way we use to kiss
And when you'd
Bite my lip.
I miss the drama
I miss the tears
But most of all
I miss having you here.

Four okay poems.

Ah, it would be the luck,
to be made a duck,
and to don't give a ****.

The grey over casting sky,
makes one wonder why,
why do things die,
is death uncaring to,
our simple way of life,
or does he bring end to strife,
many say he is this or that,
but care not to reason,
that death has no intent,
to stay anything other than content,
in being who he is,
a change and counterbalance,
to life,
for something once created,
does not change,
stagnates and remains as it is,
until something in it dies,
than with the death,
comes a new breath,
of life that has changed.
Death is not uncaring,
but cares so much,
to take the task others could not,
to end the rot of stagnate life,
to change what others cannot.

A blowing wind stirs commotion,
bringing up unneeded emotion,
of windy days,
spent in a variety of ways,
with those loved and lost,
all at great cost,
to one's sanity and personality,
why does the wind have to bring,
these feelings up again.

Green leaves do not shine,
under a grey sunshine,
wet with rain and dew,
a greying impromptu,
has made all of this for you.

Gow, my love, my firefly, my soothing calm in the midst of a torrential storm, your work is never simply, "okay." Your words are beyond amazing. Excellence can't come close to touching what describes your writing. My Coyote is much too modest.

At an end this year at last
A stiff skin ready to be shed to reveal anew
Bigger and better things are to be had
Greater heights to be achieved

for volpe and dark, here it is
i play the guitar and im writing a song, kinda want it mellowish


my song:

verse 1
pushed down once again
put my feelings on a shelf
the ways of mice and men
i never question myself

chorus
its feelings flood the brain
the snags are all undone
escaping from the pain
nature and i are one

verse 2
most think the same
that this is not clean
i should be in shame
hating of the dream

then i have a brigde

then the final chorusy outro
i feel it in my soul
the problems disappear
before me it unfolds
it all becomes so clear


and then maybe two extra lines of chorus, idk

In the last mile before the end
you dont know what words to send
the last mile of reasons not
to pull gun and fire shot
all that remains to make amends
with family and friends
if you even have that
may just be hate spat
only thing stopping you
is family and friends true
it wont last very long
just feel to wrong
then the question is how
how should you end it now?
no one helped you heal

I've got a couple poems...

Celebreties

Celebrities,
they hold us in a vice,
forcing us to look at their plastic faces.

Their rosy cheeks,
sculpted with the hacks of a scalpel,
blemish magazine covers like rampant acne.

Their star-coated eyes
and brilliant white smiles
prevent us from seeing their
smut filled minds,
but their actions show its there;

enticing us with their
jiggling breasts and tight leather pants
while they degrade themselves for money.

Attention-mongers,
they kill themselves for a shot at fame;
binge drinking for publicity,
whoring themselves for a front page headline.

They have no lives,
their destiny is predetermined by the media.

Yet they try and lead us,
because they think they're
infected with divination.

Such ruthless leaders,
taxed with idiocy.

Are they fit to rule our culture?

Music

My hands, firm yet free,
grip the wooden entity.
Six strings cascade from it's slender body,
and with each pluck of a string I distort the senses.

Bodies bucking to my hands hypnotic flow,
I control the minds of all willing to listen.
A mermaid, luring men with tantalizing riches,
I bring grandeur to the mass' ears.

I lead, pretentiously,
climaxing the crowd again and again;
every measure more bombast than the last.

And with every pull of the strings,
I manipulate the crowd,
striking pitch after pitch 'till I've tuned their thoughts.

They stare, they obey,
for they're attached to my strings.
They dance for me;
they vote for me,
and pay admission to my concert of oligarchy.

Wafting smoke laying in the air,
The pungent smell of memories,
A wrapper burning the old away,
Gone are the worries of the day,
Gone are the worries of yesterday,
All have drifted away,
Only the person remains.

What is the world but a frozen hell,
Home to the wicked and haven to the mad,
An overabundance of lies and deceit.
False 'friends' with false faces,
Friendly smiles leer from porcelain masks,
Hiding the scales of their true forms,
Snakes with sugar on their serpents' tongues.
Empty claims and hollow words of love and loyalty
Amount to absolutely nothing in the end.

Once Upon a Time.
Read between the lines
To see what truely defines
You for who you are
And who you'll be in time
Forget about the lies
So you can try to find
The things you felt before
We had that one last fight
Stop trying to deny

Even though I lost you.
I still want you back.

It wouldn't change that fact.

And on my wedding day,
