Wrote this today, mostly in French and at lunch.. It's alright.. I usually prefer free verse over anything that rhymes =/
Amphetamine Imagining his face Just thinking about him makes my heart race And flutter inside It’s not like I haven’t tried To get over this feeling The last wound’s still healing But try as I may I just can’t get this to go away Is it love or infatuation? I cannot take this aggravation My heart is pounding in my chest I’m so close to cardiac arrest The euphoria’s so high I feel like I could fly The high will take its toll My body’s losing control The effects couldn’t have been forseen He must be amphetamine

Meh, a new one.. whatever..
Now, mind you, it's just about 6AM And I've fallen asleep while writing this about seven times.. That's cool, and yes the title does not have anything to do with the poem. =P. While I was reading your poem I was wondering where jerky or a rabbit would come in....lol. But yeah.. I love how you described the Arabian stallion. Another great poem, good job.
