A little information about the role of Moderator and some information on the role Moderator may be promoted to:
Moderator
Moderators have the following responsibilities:
- They will have to see that posts are following the Forum rules.
- Merge double posts where applicable.
- Move posts or threads to appropriate sections.
- Report Spam posters.
- Close and Solve threads where needed.
- Report posts where further action is needed.
Moderator who prove themselves as competent in their tasks and judgement will have the possibility to be promoted to Global Moderator. Begging for promotion is not the way to receive one.

To apply you must have at least 300 posts and are an active member with over 3 months since you joined the forum.
You may apply up to once per every three months and only after 90 days since prior application.
Upon acceptance of the application you will receive a PM notifying of the application's acceptance. Applications will be considered and decided upon among the Administrators. Acceptance into Staff will be sent in a PM to the applicant upon final decision.

- I've been a bit saddened by how these forums are going into a bit of a decay. I remember a few years ago when every single section was filled with people posting and having some kind of discussion. I want to bring back that former glory to these boards and then make it even better.

- I have none.

- I am fine with moderating any of the forums, but I would prefer to focus around the Help Forum.
4. How you can help that area
- I will try to answer any questions that I can, and I'll even try to look up answers for questions that I don't know. Of course, I would also enforce the rules of the boards.
5. Why you want that area
- It seems as though it would be the most beneficial to these boards. I'm pretty sure that the majority of people that come to these boards are here for the games and help with their devices. As I'm not much of a coder myself (I'm trying to learn, but I'm still not very good), the only thing left for me is the Help Forum. If I'm able to give a good impression of Zune Boards there, perhaps more people will come here.
Also, as a small side note, I really like helping people. It feels really nice to be able to make someone's life easier, even if it is in one of the smallest ways.
6. Hours available to be spent moderating
- I can spend about 2-3 hours per day during these summer months, but once school starts, it'll probably drop to around 1.5 hours a day.

- Because I am a very experienced member and have been here a long time, and I feel I should help out the forum that I've enjoyed so much.

- Anywhere needed, preferably Games though.

- I'll enforce the rules to the best of my ability, help people with questions, respect everyone.

- Because I have lots of experience in Zune gaming, writing games, and the like. But I would love any area I get, because I have experience on almost every board.

- Anywhere from 0 (rare) to 5 (also very rare), but most likely around 2-2.5.

I, like many of you, hate what I once was. I used to be an intentionally annoying jerk that didn't care about the rules or other members. But for the last few months, it's been different. Now, I really care. I sincerely want ZuneBoards to be better- for EVERYONE. So, please, that's all I ask. Judge me on what I am now, not the thing I once was. Thank you.

because i have spent a lot of time helping out people around these forums and being a moderator gives me a little more access to things like posting "solved" after i have help someone and/or locking a thread when the problem has bin solved.
