i just downloaded running man the other day and it is amazing.. probably an 8 out of 10 because i wish it could have a menu like sirtet so i could pick different music during the game. gameplay is simple, and very addictive.
the good: left or righthanded landscape view, easy to learn controls, great graphics and sound/explosions
what id like to see if another version was made: better menu (music choices like sirtet), high scores, show the battery icon
I understand that these games are for the most part user created and I think thats great, but to be honest of all the games ive played which is just about all of them , they lack a fluid controll style, quality graphics and I hate the fact that quiting a game means restarting the device. I hate to say that at this point the I-pod has the corner on the game quality (control , look and feel). Its only a matter of time im sure but at this point in time I won't be doing much gaming on my Zune. Hoping for some quality games soon. This is no way meant to knock those that have worked hard to create these apps im just putting in my 2 cents. Its definetly better than I could do, but from a consumers standpoint there are better mobile games out there for mp3 devices.

PS: I will say that RIG is an excellent way to deploy games to the ZUNE though big step in the right direction, 2 thumbs up for that.

I understand what your saying but you have to remember the Zune wasn't mean to have games until Microsoft allowed it.

Yeah I understand that and I know a mojority of people don't buy mp3 devices to play games on as well. It might take another couple of gererations untill it's a device that can fully support game function and thats fine. I think that the progress that has been made in the last few months is really great and im sure that a year from now they will be some really solid user created programs out for it.
Sweet, I just wanted to make sure the zB programmers get the credit they deserve. not saying that you didnt. just that they are making quite fine games for a device that was not meant for games.
I like the new game Space Battle.First off, Good graphics.I like the way you can play music while playing it,(every game should have that feature).It has a very easy user interface, so the non gamer can easily control it.I like how it has a saving feature, very helpful.It also lets you upgrade and customize your ship.This is nice when your bored and want to keep the game interesting.The integration with the Zune pad is beautiful. They nailed it with the difficulty level.It's easy enough to play on some levels, yet not too hard on some levels, so you can't get mad and frustrated.It's also great because you have a different boss at the end of each level.Also, the new enemies each different planet was nice because It wouldn't get too old and boring.It did get a tiny bit boring, but wasn't that bad for me to lose interest or anything. Overall, I give it a 4.7 out of 5. To sum it up, Very good game with easy controls, and good graphics.
