I use PSP video 9 to sync non wmv / mp4 videos to my zune, its free and was suggested to me from a site almost a year ago! (use PSP video 9 to convert divx / etc files to Mpeg4 (iPod style) then sync with zune software!)

The only way you would be able to use guest mode was if your Zune wasn't registered to your software.

When you sync.. you drag the video from a unmonitored folder, then sync the video to the zune using the zunesoftware.
