We want zAlternator Winamp support!!

I made a ton of posts in the zAlternator support thread about Winamp support, but they were ignored. I think it is time to make a thread dedicated to this. Even if Winamp isn't supported, and my problems with it aren't unique, I'd at least like some comment from someone who knows what they're talking about. Is Winamp support being worked on? Will it be included in an upcoming update? Is it supposed to work and am I having some kind of error that no one else is? Help?

The error is Winamp itself. The stupid thing keeps trying to access the Zune as a PlayForSure device, which it is not.

Not sure if I'm having the same problem as DrunkManfuu. I used Zalternator, and can now sink happily with WMP, it sees it and is fine. WinAmp just states "Searching for Zune" under the 'Portables' tab, and then goes away (or something like that), and I cannot access anymore.

Is THIS the Winamp problem that is being talked about? Am I alone in my problem? If I am please help 'cause I want my zune and Winamp to play nice.

well if the issue is with winamp (which i most definitely seems to be) why not get someone started on a plugin or fix of sorts? cause i reeeeally wanna use winamp, the zs is sh!tting me to tears
