If anyone has questions, problems, or ideas for new features for zAuto Unlocker, post them here.
I will be happy to help anyone having problems with my hack.

So i did everything and my zune is in sync mode , But how do i do the rest??? Please if is not to much to ask i would love it if you had a picture tutorial or number of steps that you are supposed to do. Because i am not sure if i am supposed to post codes anywhere.... i am just confused please line this out in clearer steps for slow retards like me

If your Zune is in syncing mode then it is unlocked.
You can go into windows explorer, your zune should be displayed under My Computer, double click the zune icon, double click the storage icon, you should see the folders in your zune, from there you can create and delete folders, and move files onto or delete from the device.

No syncing mode.. new version. I can see the device in My Compter but cannot copy to it.. It just says connected on the screen..

Does the Zune software start up when you connect your device?
Is your zune detected by the zune software?
Does the zune software go to the device tab before being killed?

Just because it's not supported doesn't mean it doesn't work.
A backup is now on the zB server and the download links have been changed to reflect it.

Yes the software starts.. the zune connects.. when I push the yes (when connected) it does go to the device tab, device screen opens and it appears to go to the sync button. Zune software shuts down and the Zune in the the 'connected' mode not 'sync'. If I answer no the 'is it syncing' the whole thing starts over again. If I answer yes everthing shuts down (still visible in My computer). When I unplug the Zune from the computer it does say 'syncing complete' How much stuff do you need to 'sync'? Most of my music is on an external drive, I do have about 2mb of pictures local. Do i need to be syncing something large.. ??

When you hit the sync button the device will be in sync mode for a second even if you don't have anything to sync.

I never have anything waiting to be synced, try disabling the Zune software from auto syncing by connecting as a guest if you have to, or remove anything the program may be trying to sync automatically.

I can suggest waiting a couple of seconds after the Zune is detected before hitting the ok button, just in case the device is busy and not ready to be synced yet.

Also try watching your zune screen when you hit the ok button to see if it does start syncing at all.
If it doesn't, then the app is being killed too quickly, make sure you don't have anything running in the background that could be slowing your machine down.

And if none of this helps, please let me know your system specs, maybe your machine is too fast(killing the app to soon) or too slow(killing the app too late)

I have only tested this on 32bit XP machines, mostly with dual core processors, and my 1st gen Zune 30.

Works perfectly for me on the 10 machines i have tried it on.

I just noticed that the current version of the download file is still 1.3.
So it is not terribly likely that you have the 1.4, but it is possible you do if you got it yesterday.
When you run the installer, make sure it says 1.4 at the top.
I will re-up the 1.4 when i get home in about 20min.

Because its an exe perhaps?

it does it for me too, it's google that's doing it. I saved it earlier, I'll throw it on the zB ftp

I think google just changed their security settings!

Anyway i just finished 1.5, and i put the installer in a zip file.
It now works by putting the mouse over the sync button and hitting Alt+S.

so installed 1.5 and i plugged in zune and it didn't automatically pop up and help me unlock the device! It said that it successfully installed ... 1.3 worked but kept closing my program... So what do i do with the 1.5 soft??

In 1.5 when you connect the device, or run zAuto Unlocker from the start menu, you can go to the device tab, put your mouse over the sync button and hit Alt+s.
zAuto Unlocker will click the sync button with your cursor, then try to kill the Zune software while the device is in the sync mode.
