With a lot of people making request for signatures in the Graphic Request section, there are a lot of people who take these request and make up a signature for them. Now, of course, some people decide to save it on their computer and upload it to zuneboards.
WAIT RIGHT THERE, SILLY RABBIT! That's where you screw up the sig. Now, let me explain. Ahem. Usually, when a request is filled, they'll save the image as a .png(which is the AWESOME MANLY thing to do when you make signatures). When you upload a signature directly from your computer to zuneboards via user cp's "Edit signature" option, it will convert the image into a .gif. THIS IS A BAD THING! BAD BAD BAD! EVIL THING! This is what happens when you upload a sig directly to zuneboards from your computer.

Of course, some people don't use the Centura skin(the skin can be changed by scrolling down to the bottom page and clicking on the dropbox on the left side). BUT USING CENTURA IS THE MANLY WAY! THE MANLY WAY! But I'm getting ahead of myself. Anyway, for people using skins that have mainly a white layout, you wouldn't think this is so bad. WRONG! Look at the original sig and compare them.

You can obviously tell the difference. One is obviously bigger than the other. Sometimes you'll get a signature that has someone "popping" out. By uploading it directly to zuneboards from your computer, you ruin the transparency that the signature once had. The one above is the one you want. A lot of people already know how to add pictures into their signatures. Some people don't. Usually, these people are new to forums. So, of course, I'm going to tell you how to put an image in your signature.
Ready?
READY?!
Ok.
1. Get a signature. We will be using the following image:

2. Get the image link. You do this by right-clicking the signature(or picture), and looking for an option that says "Copy image address" or something, as seen below:

2a. Another option is saving the image on your computer and uploading it to a IMAGE HOST. Examples of image hosts include photobucket, tinypic, imageshack and others. I prefer to use tinypic. And I hate using imageshack.
3. Go to User CP.
4. Look to the right and look for "Edit Signature" option. Click on that.
5. You'll be faced with a text box and a preview of your current singature. Now, you remember that image link I told you to copy? You're about to use it. On top of the text area, there's a button that looks like this

. Click on it. You'll be faced with a pop-up that tells you to put in a link. Insert the link you copied in there. Then press "Ok. You have just done a IMG BBcode. You see how the whole thing is: [img_]http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/centura/editor/insertimage.gif[/img_]. It looks like that, but without the underscores. Now scroll down and click "Save signature".
Congrats, you person new to forums. You now have an image in your signature that everyone will see everytime you make a post. Just make sure it's not an annoying one.
