Converting Playlists to Sync with the Zune

Hey Guys,
I've gotten a couple of trackbacks from your site before, and have noticed that a common problem that people seem to have is dropping playlists from other jukebox software like iTunes or Media Monkey into the Zune software to sync with their Zune devices.
With that in mind, I'd like to bring some attention to a piece of software that I wrote called yourTunes that allows you to import your iTunes library and export any playlist in it to a *.zpl playlist file that can be read by the Zune player and synched to the device. In addition, it supports limited conversions of other playlist formats.
I figured that somebody on this forum might find my software useful - it's free to download, and I'm happy to modify it to add new features as requested. Just leave a comment on my website if you have any questions or complaints.

Wow, this is quite nifty !! I use both and I have different playlists in iTunes and the Zune Software because I'm too lazy to recreate them (especially once you get into 100+ songs). Thanks, I will try this out.

Wow, thanks alot for this. Its so simple to use. I was just wondering though, is there any way for urTunes to keep the order of the playlist. It seems to rearrange my playlist into alphabetical order. If not, is there a way to manually move the order of songs around on the urTunes software. Either way. thanks again for this!

Sorry, there isn't currently support for that functionality in the software. I'd recommend letting it convert, and then re-arranging the songs in the Zune jukebox software. I know that sucks for playlists that you've already chosen an order for. If I get a chance over the next few days, I might fix it for you.
