Default Zune 4.0 Software Glitch

I've recently upgrades to Zunes new 4.0 HD software with many problems:

1. After update I cannot sign in the Zune marketplace
2. I cannot link my zune (80 gig) to the software
3. I tried to do a firmware update to see if this would fix the issue, but now I can't get firmware installed ( C00D1100 error) and can't use my Zune now.

So my 80 gig Zune is empty
I can't connect to update

Any ideas?

I tried to disable my antivirus to see if that was the case, but to no avail.

Please, any suggestions would be helpful.

Im having a similar problem...I cannot sign in to marketplace and it just says "sorry cant sign in right now"

I called zune support and they were no help as usual.

i cant sync my zune and now all my zune pass content is unplayable because its been over a month.

you need to sign in on zune.net and accept the new terms and conditions.then you will be able to sign in on the software

trust me ive tried everything....ive accepted the terms of service...

my internet explorer and google chrome dont work either but firefox does....its messed up

I'm having a similar problem, running windows 7, was all working fine until i updated to 4.0, now i can charge, but it cannot recognise the device, i have re-installed the software, done a restart on my zune (80gi btw), have run all updates ect and still nothing, wishing i never went to 4.0, can you still download the old version of the software?

did you use unzoone when you uninstalled the zune software?

I fixed my problem....I did a complete PC Restore....now its time to redownload the 40 gigs of music i lost....

OK I dont have a live account, last time i tried to get 1 they wouldn't let me (i'm in Australia) as they dont officially sell Zunes here, but my PC is set to Australian timezone, just didn't really think this would affect it as it seems as though the driver for the Zune has not worked, any ideas how to get the driver working, there is a folder in the Zune program files called driver, but no .exe or .msi files, and i don't get the option to install a driver when i plug the zune in, it just keeps flashing that it cannot recognise the device, and in the device manager, the device does not stay on the screen, it keeps 'reseting', had to say and a screen shot wont help, i'd need to show a video of it, also is a brand new os install so dont think a rebuild will help either, know theres lots of bable in there but hope someone can help

hey guys anymore help with this? Have been reading a few other forums and looks like loads of people are having this issue, surprised microsoft have not put out another update to fix this. So if anyone can please help, let me know, unfortunatley, this is gonna make me to the unthinkable and go to a ipod, as this is just typical of microsoft, take your money, try 'improve' the software, which makes nothing work, then not fix it or say "just do a hard reset on your zune", whatever microsoft, this zune belongs in the bin like the rest of your products
