Hey All,

I've been searchinga round the forums, but I can't find an adequate solution to my problem.

I have a file with 114 songs in it, they are numbered as 001, 002 etc etc all the way up to 114; there are multiple sets of these but by different artists and albums...

The zune software only identified one correctly by: detecting all of the songs, and then organizing them in order.

However, the other two albums only get 88~104 or something like that, songs detected. Some aren't even in order.

I tried changing the names on the files to like Chapter_001, Chapter_002, etc or something, but that didn't help. Changing the individual file names detects them, but they aren't in order. When i try to rename them in the zune software, they disappear.

the reason why they disappear is because you rename it ,so now it "disappears" to the correct position (alphabetically) where it should be. ps this is normal

now, at times you have to edit each album/song correctly for the zune software to get the "right" album art and album info ..so my suggestion is to continue to edit each album (in the zune software) or just the ones that need editing ..then right click and find album info

They are removed form the zune software when I rename them to the correct file name.

All the files have the same album info and artist info (in this one particular folder).

I might end up buying an ipod if this problem doesn't get fixed, or if I can use zalternator... But downgrades aren't being shown on the forum.
