having a problem with my collection..

today i decided to fix my zune content and update album information on songs etc etc.. so i updated to the new software(which looks pretty cool btw) the only bad thing is that when i have my zune plugged into my computer and click on "device" everything that i have changed/updated is there..but when i unplug my device certain things that should of been deleted/moved are in the same spot before i started fixing my content.
for example: i cleared out the "unkown artist's section" but when i unplug my zune it still shows the "unkown artists section" as if i never cleared it. i synced my zune plenty of times hoping it would just update all the changes i made but it stays the same. can anyone help me out? all help is appreaciated.

I've noticed that sometimes the zune listings are different than the software's. You have to check to make sure that the composer or track artists match the album artist... because every artist will get a separate section (for example, I have Satellite, by P.O.D, and they have some guest vocals in a few songs... those guest vocalists get their own spot in the artists area, even though the album artist is P.O.D--- I hope that makes sense).

thanks for the reply Red, where my problem mostly lies is that i made sereval changes on my zune device like (moving certain songs to a different album or deleting "unkown songs" and so on and so forth) when i have my zune plugged into my compter all the changes are made but when i unplug my zune its as if i didnt change anything at all even though when i plug in my zune and go to "device" it shows the songs,artists, the way i wanted them to be when i changed it.

i guess the best way i can describe it is like this: when i have my zune plugged in and go to device i see my songs/artists set up one way but when i unplug my zune some of the stuff that was deleted or changed is still there (even thought it doesnt show up in the software->device)
