Default Question about music downloaded from Zune Pass

If I would download a CD through the Zune Pass but I eventually bought the CD and ripped it, would the ripped version override the downloaded version? What happens in that situation?

It would only delete the actual files if you saved them to the same folder and they were named the same.

Depending on whether you have the option to synchronize duplicates of songs to your device selected, you may or may not have double of the songs. This is, of course, assuming that the metadata is correct when you rip the songs.

I usually rip to the 'My Music' folder through WMP. So in this case, if I have the option for songs to not duplicate, the ripped files would override the downloaded Zune pass files? This is what I'm hoping will happen.

I'm asking because I'm considering signing up for the Zune pass but I'm the type who prefers a physical CD over downloaded. But still, it'd be nice to have free access to the CDs I don't have until I eventually decide to buy them.

Edit: Now that I think about it, I guess I could just delete the downloaded songs before ripping the physical copy of the CD.
