Default Cant log on after 4.0 DL

Is anyone else having this problem? I have DL-ed 4.0 onto my computer and it works fine (really nice, BTW) but when I go to sign on (I do have an up to date Zune Pass) it wont let me. It says to try again later, that its a server error. I've been getting the same msg since yesterday afternoon. Does anyone know what's going on?

I had the same issue after accepting the new TOS. I had to go to the zune.net site and sign in to accept the TOS there, then once I did I was able to log into the zune software as well. Seems to be an issue with the acceptance of the TOS back to the system from within the 4.0 software, accepting from the website is a good workaround.

Terms of service. Logging in at zune.net will prompt you to accept the new terms of service. Perhaps that will fix your problem.

Nope, did not work. I can log onto my zune.net profile but not onto my software (zune pass) it tells me:

"Cant sign in due to temporary server error. Please try again later"

But, it has been saying this since yesterday afternoon!!! I'm so frustrated! F&*%K!

I have the same problem, but a different error message....

"can't retrieve the computer name"

Can log in via zune.net fine, but not from within the software. Is there some corrupted files in Windows Firewall that could be causing the problem?

Thank goodness! I AM LOGGED IN, FINALLY!! It was my Norton Internet Security software. I actually removed it, but there remained some remnants of it still on my pc. So, I had to call Norton so they could uninstall it completely. After that, I could log into the zune software and access itunes store. I was having that issue as well. So, I would suggest anyone having this issue to go in safemode with network connection and see if you can log into zune software. If you can, that means something in normal mode is preventing your connection with the software. Maybe, like me, it is your antispyware. Good luck. I's going to bed now.
