Enhanced now playing screen help?

The majority of my music collection is downloaded from the internet so its not ripped or from the Zune Pass. I have alot of music that should be recognizable by the Zune software but isnt, so the artists enhanced now playing screen doesnt show. I want to know is there anything I can change in the metadata of my music so the software will recognize my music and show the enhanced now playing screen for the artist/albums.

You can manually edit them in the Zune software by right clicking the song and selecting edit. Or you can right click and album of music and select find info, this will search the marketplace for a match to your album.

I've never been able to get the new Now Playing screen to work. I assume its cos I'm in the UK, but today MixView has started to work out of nowhere, so am I doing something wrong?

It depends on the bands you are listening to. If their well known, they will have a now playing screen. If they are smaller, they wont.

I understand if they are known they will have a now playing screen... but its something about how the music is tagged that makes the software recognize the album b/c some of my albums work for certain artist while others dont

The song's information has to match whatever information they have for that artist/album in the database. If it doesn't match, you don't see a pretty screen with artist stuff.
