Can't transfer anything :(

Hi everyone. This is my first time posting in this forum. I bought my first Zune 120 GB on Friday and not a second has passed and I did not regret that decision. I have 2 problems and will greatly appreciate any helps toward solving them. I can't think straight anymore, I’m so close to breaking this device to pieces I may end up doing just that.


1) I am trying to upload my music that is in a single folder to Zune. I copy the music I have and manually put it in the folder that zune has synchronized itself with my computer. And here is the problem. The zune software recognizes every single file in the album as an album in itself. That results in having for example 17 new albums every time I upload a folder.

Then I have to merge all of them together in the software by clicking and dragging them. But every time I did this it magically deleted some of my songs. This is beyond me. Why is it doing this? I spent almost 20 minutes transferring a single album to my Zune and still am not able to put a single goddamn file in that god for saken device. Anybody can tell me an easy way to transfer my music to zune? I have my music all over my hard drive (2.2 TB) and I want to select what to put there and what not to put there.


2) I want to listen to one track repeatedly. How do I find repeat a track function? I run a lot each day and don’t have time to stop, pause, find the song again and play it every 3 minutes. Is there an option to make the track repeat itself endlessly and not the whole album?


I am fairly new to all this so sorry for asking these questions. The manual doesn’t say a word about how this device works so I’m left with my anger and music files in my computer ready to be transferred but not able to yet. If I can’t get this thing to work until tomorrow I’ll return it and get an Ipod. I had Toshiba for over 4 years and now that I want a change this is happening to me. I feel really lost. Please help me if you know how to solve those 2 problems. i can take a screenshot of the software if it helps you guys.

#2: You can add it to the quick play or whatever it's called (I havn't seen a zune for over a month). If it's the only song you add, it'll cycle.

I don't know about #1, sorry. That's whacked.

Thanks for the help but I've had enough of zune. I'm returning it tomorrow to BestBuy and getting an Ipod. I can't take this anymore, I'm going insane behind my computer and can't transfer any songs. It didn't even last a day in my house.
