Zune Software skips on Video Podcast

I have some video podcast that the Zune Software on my Vista 32 bit pc plays for awile and then will jump back to previously played portions of the podcast. They video files work fine on my ZUNE device, but it's really annoying how choppy and the many restarts on the Zune Software. Anybody having this issue and know of a fix?

All software and firmware is at the current version.

What are your computer's specs? There's a chance that your computer isn't fast enough and this will cause issues down the line.

I remember trying to watch 300 on my computer before I upgraded the hardware... it ran fine for a few minutes, but after a while, it became jumpy, and the video and audio got out of sync. the audio actually had to pause to let the video catch up. Watching the exact same video on my zune, there were no problems.

It could be the same inyour case.

Get the K-Lite Codec pack. then, set Zune to run in high preformance mode by minimizing visuals in the display tab of options.

Thanks for the response. I built the PC myself last year. Its a Core 2 Duo 2.33 Ghz with 2 Gb of memory. I not so sure that its a catch up issue. The video will play and then it may jump back 5 to 10 seconds and do that three of 4 times. I have to drag the slidder to play the video past that section. It then my play for a few more seconds and then jump back again. So its not so much of a pausing issue its more of a replaying what it just played issue. Drives me nuts!! I can only watch videos on my zune device as the Zune software doesn't seem to work well. Audio files seem to be fine.
