Problem with incomplete files after sync

I have a random problem with files that are OK on my PC but only play partially on the Zune. This occurs when I rip a CD or sync a WMV file. It doesn't happen to all the CD music files on one CD, but maybe 4 or 5. The songs will play for a short while and then just go on to the next song. Same with the wmv files. Anyone ever experience this and know what the problem might be?

Try ripping in another file type. And what are you ripping with?

I just use the Zune software for the CD files.

Use windows Media Player on CD ripping. See if that makes a difference.
