I'VE HAD IT!

This is the 3rd time that I've had this problem with my zune.
I went to erase all content and resync because i wanted the artist section to say "various artists" unsted of listing evey artist like on a sound track. it was pissing me off. so i delete content and begin resyncing. but only 10 somgs total synced. then i erase and try again this time like 30 songs synce the others all have the yellow ! under the not added. It's pissing me off i have a 3 month sub that i baught 1 month ago. and I've had trouble with my zune so much its pissing me off. i called the hotline once and they helped but it was only a temp fix i guess.
EDIT: Now it wont reconize my zune at all. way to fail zune
EDIT again: Now, My zune background wont light up, and its frozen and it wont restart.

How new is your computer? or better yet what are your system specs?
Mine has the same problems but it doesnt fulfil the minimum requirements for the zune program.

my cpu is fine it can run the software smoothly. its windows xp pro. whats the help line please.

my specs are fine.... i just wanna know why the software isnt picking up my zune. specs are fine. my PC has picked it up before. the backlight isnt showing up at all and also my buttons on the zune wont work and i cant restart it. if my zunes broke already im just ganna go back to a ipod

Yes i have.
and its a 2nd gen 120 gig. never had so many problems.

is it still under warrenty? contact MS and have them fix it.

I was wondering if I could get my artists to be not spread out on my zune when its a sound track or something. Like when I'm scrolling through my artists and see names I don't know like Ali Leroi or w/e and that artist is suppost to be on a sound track. Is there a way that I can make it not show up as an individual artist.

Edit the entire album in the Zune software and change the artist to "Various Artists" or the soundtrack name.

It doesnt show up like that on the soft ware only the zune

I've noticed something like this happening to me before as well. You might have to make sure that the album information is correct for every individual song in the software. You could use find album info to expedite the process.

have you tried right clicking on each song and manually synching with the zune? also try reinstalling the software after Unzooning it... i know when i remove content from my zune and the library (and re add it after making changes to the file - rencode or format adjustment etc.) to get it back on the zune i have to do it manually sometimes... i alternate between auto synch and manual...
