WMC Only comes with: XP MCE Edition Vista Home Premium/Ultimate, and W7Beta.

You can't get an individual download as far as I can tell.

Windows Media Center 2005 in itself was an OS.
You can't download an OS legally.

I remember the previous thread on this. XP Media Center Edition was primarily an OEM product that was sold by various vendors, with their hardware. To my knowledge, there are two ways to get MCE 2005:

- Via an downloadable ISO, if you have an MSDN subscription (I assume that's not an option, here)
- Via your hardware vendor. I know that MCE 2002 serial numbers can work with MCE 2005, so it's possible that your hardware vendor might offer an free or low-cost upgrade path.
