help needed plz

i have the zune 80gb with the version 2 software.
when i sync movies or music to my zune if i delete the original file from my library it automatically deletes it from my zune. what settings can i change to fix this...

In your options, there should be an area for syncing, set the video sync to manual. That will alleviate the problem that you are facing.

This means at one point you set it so when you delete something from your library it deletes it off the computer also, Didn't you get a warning?

sorry i dont think u understand me. i mean that ill put a video on my zune from my library and if i delete it from my library the next time i plug my zune in it will automatically delete it off my zune. i need to change the setting so it doesnt do that, which i dont no how to do.

i looked under sync setting but i didnt find anything about manual syncing. im downloading the new zune software and ill c if there is a setting there.

yeh im trying to install the new software but i keep on getting this error message:
installation failed
setup must stop b/c the required package zune didnt install.
error opening installation log file. verify that the specified log file location exists and that you can write to it

error code: 0x80070656

In the 3.x Zune Software:

Settings (upper right corner) > Device (upper left corner) > Smart Sync (in the center).... enable "Manaul Sync" if you don't want the software to automatically add / delete items to your Zune, as you add / delete them in the Zune Software. Or, you can just turn off video sync, it that's all you want to do.
