Zune message

My Zune had been updated with new software and driver. When I click the Zune icon on my computer it says: Microsoft Zune has encountered a problem and needs to close. H E L P !!

try reinstalling the software.

I have tried that and also tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling but to no avail?

have you tried using unzoone?

also, make sure that you have admin privileges when installing, as well as any restrictions on the installer due to a firewall gotten rid of.

Not sure if this will help anyone but I uninstalled microsoft net framework 3.5 and it seemed to do the trick after trying everything else. Not sure why it worked but it did so if anyone else runs into this on windows XP, give this a try and it might just work. No guarantees, or refunds.
