this works normally but for some reason when i put a store bought disc in now it goes to automatically name the songs etc but it calls it the wrong one. any thoughts on what would cause this and how to tell it that its a different album? i did a search on the forums and also google but havent found anything except suggestions to just rip with a different software, but i am starting a digital music collection from scratch and would like to keep it as simple as possible and just use one program. thanks in advance

Its just a small error that you have to fix manually.
Just change the artist and the album name back to normal and you can then just right click on the album and get the info for the album from the Zune marketplace, and they info should be the right info. But, if that's too much work, go to google and search EAC (Exact Audio Copy). It'll rip the songs from the cd better then the Zune software ever could. You can even rip it to .wav, .mp3, or .wma. Whatever tickles your fancy. ![]() |

1) EAC + Zune is not that much of a leap in software usage.
2) You could also try ripping it with Windows Media Player 11, set it to WMA Pro for better audio than WMA Standard. If you want to keep the software usage down, go with the latter option.
