Default 3.0 Software and Mixview question

I'd like to see all the pretty pictures when I'm listening to my music. Some artists play just fine with all the images and info, while others don't. I understand I won't get obscure artists, but I've got nothing for big names like Beyonce, 50 Cent, TLC... Stuff I know is in the Zune Marketplace. There is a locked thread on the board where someone else has this problem, and someone suggested letting Zune auto-fill in all the information for my collection and then it will work. PLEASE tell me there is an alternative to this option. I'm very particular about the tags on my music and I don't like what Zune does to it (ie, making seperate categories like "R&B" and then "R&B/Soul"). Can anyone help me out please?

Well, that's the best way; if the tags don't match exactly it might get confused and simply not do it. If that's not the case, well then, it may just be that MS is still working out their server issues and trying to get all the artists linked up, even the more well known ones.

Thanks. If anyone else has any thoughts, please share.

Yeah, I did try this, and it didn't work. Unless it takes three days or something to start working, it was just a waste of time. The software needs a serious reality check when it tags your stuff for you. If Zune doesn't know the song's info, it shouldn't just guess. What a mess... luckily I backed up my music collection.

So I guess mixview is just a feature I don't get to enjoy. Thanks, Zune.

It does take several hours. Just tell it to tag for you and then leave it on overnight. It takes time to sort these things out.
