Zune 3.0 won't download (version 3.1 windows installer actually...)

For some reason, whenever I try to download the new Zune 3.0 it makes me have to install the new 3.1 version of windows on my computer.
Well, when I try to install it, it makes me restart my computer, right? Well when I restart my computer, it messes everything up and I have to run in safe mode.

So I can never get zune! Help.

Hrm....call customer support at 1-877-GET-ZUNE, 6am-9pm PST, 7 days a week.
