Default Top artists?

How does it pick your top artists in social? The ones it lists for me are the first few I listened to (including one that I clicked about 2 songs in the marketplace and never downloaded anything). Now, it only has about 500 plays at this point, but none of my most-played bands are in the Top Artists list. What is it supposed to be?
