Connecting xbox 360 to zune

i have had zune 30 for bout 2 years now, i love it! just got a 360, love it! i just got my wireless adapter i can connect to live no problems. i found out that i can connect to the zune software, PROBLEM!

here are the results of the media test connection...

network adapter... usb wireless
wireless network... connected
ip address... confirmed
pc select... failed

status codes if they help you

w: 0000-0021
x: 0000-f001
y: 0000-0000
z: 8000-4005

now i can connect to live with no problems through the xbox.
i can see the xbox through my "view my computers and devices".
i can see the xbox through media player 11.
media center with the 8 digit code does not work, zune does not work, media player 11 does not work.

...and i do have all my anti-virus and firewalls off!

i do not have a e-cable 40 feet to connect xbox to the router, or a 20 foot e-cable to connect xbox to pc.

here is what i got...

belkin wireless g router f5d8233-4v3
xbox 360 with usb wireless adapter
windows vista ultimate 32
linksys internal wireless adapter

zune software 3.0.532.0
windows media player 11
media center

i would prefer to connect my 360 through the zune software.

i was talking to a 360 supervisor for 73 mins, got me nowhere.

i have noticed that when i enable sharing in the zune software, that if i close the zune (after hitting ok) and reopen it, that it does not keep my settings. i have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and the same thing.

if you need any more info i will be happy to give it to you. just let me know what you need.
