Zune opening problem

ok..here is the problem.....

everytime i click on my zune software icon on my desktop...nothing happens.....the menu dosn't come up and there even isnt an error message....anyone know what the problem could be?....any help would be appretiate about how to fix this.

P.S..... i havent been able to get any new music onto my zune for months, so im kinda desperate. Thanks Again

I had this exact same problem, so I tried to uninstall Zune from my PC. This also didn't work. So I went and deleted everything on my PC related to Zune, registry keys and all. Everything. And I tried to reinstall the software. That didn't work either. Now I'm stuck.

My Windows Media Player is doing it now too.
