Video mp4 sync trouble

So i always convert my vids to mp4 using winaviconverter..... THEY ALWAYS sync to zune and play....
For some reason they are not now.....!!!
They are recognized in zune program then they say that they sync to device.......
Then i unplug zune and they are not in the videos...... and yes i checked every video folder....
BUT there is a suspiciuse .wmv file with the title .wmv
IT won't play though...
The .wmv file comes up every time in zune ,

So 2 questions
1. WTF is going on that the videos are not on device? i have over 30 other vids that synced before this week same format they worked... what has changed?]]
2. Why now is this .wmv file seems to replace vids that i just synced to zune but i can't find on zune player???

could someone give me some advice .............................. Please

hey esslyria, i have some information, but i am afraid i do not have a solution

my zune also used to synce mp4 easily

i downloaded the newest firmware because i upgraded from XP to Vista and that all changed (my dad upgraded because our other compy crashed)

i use videora and mediacoder to convert .flv to .mp4 and these video files can be played using the zune software just fine, but the zune software cannot sync them to my zune

i look forward to a new updated zune firmware because i believe it will be more compatable to my vista computer and that the problem with such an incident is caused by incompatibility between zune 3.0 and vista

miscellaneous bugs i am experiencing, zune has stopped working window appears as soon as i open zune software but if i let vista give up and say it has no solutions and minimize the window, i can use zune software just fine (exept for syncing mp4!!!)

when i get on zune with my dad's identity logged in, the whole "stopped working" incident never occurs and everything is just peachy

this has again led me to believe that i might be able to log on in my dad's identity and sync mp4s successfully but i do not know

finally, when i am on zune under my own identity sometimes the "stopped working" incident does not and will not occur and i attribute this to my dad having his zune software open while i am logged on my user. When the zune appears to act normally, it will not recognize my zune if i connect it. The way that i get the zune to be recognized is by restarting my comp, which i think ended the software that was opened on my dad's user, log back in, wait for vista to give up on finding why the "stopped working" incident has occured, and go on to sync with my zune (mp3 only, not mp4s =[)

so you see, by having an error sign not come on, i can no longer have zune recognize my device which is clearly irrational so i hypothesize that my zune software is buggy (microsoft's fault) zune is slightly incompatible with vista (micro.'s fault) or well, that it

i will try

logging on my dad's identity and trying to sync

wait for zune 3.5 or whatever to be launched

and post on every forum i can about such things

hopefully someone out there has similar issues and we can be of mutual benefit to one another, thanks for reading i know its a long one =)
