Default Syncing collection into Zune software?

Ok, sorry if this has already been covered in another thread, but I couldn't find it. I just had to have a new hardrive installed and so had to reinstall the Zune software of course. Is there any way to transfer the music that is on my Zune onto the new software? I have a feeling there isn't but I thought I would ask. I don't want to have to re-download all the music but then have it all sync to my Zune and have duplicate songs. Thanks.

ya turn the program off auto sync. then connect your zune. in the program, go to 'device' then drag all your songs onto that little computer in the lower left. that means copy to collection. post back if you have questions

Thanks for the help so far, but here is a dumb question: How do you turn off auto sync? Can't seem to find it.

If I'm right, I think you just plug in your Zune and go to settings up in the corner, hit device, and put let me choose all down the list... or else you could just connect your Zune as a guest
