Password Protected Podcasts

Ok, so I know that this is NOT supported by the Zune software, which I do find ridiculous, but thats beside the point. Anyway, I am downloading the podcast with another program, and I have it dumping the podcast into a folder. I have the zune software watching for podcasts in that folder. The very first time I set this up, the Zune software picked it up, and it worked great. But ever since then it will NOT recognize that there are new files in that folder.

I have tried pulling them into the music section and changing the genre to Podcast, but first of all, that selection is not an option, I had to type it in, so I dont see how it can recognize that correctly anyway.

So basically I am asking, How in the world can I get the Zune Software to recognize the fact that there are new files in a folder, if I already have it pointed look at that specific folder, and it is still not seeing them.

BTW, I have tried deleting everything in that folder and setting it up new again with those original files that worked the first time, and I can not get it to work again.

Use MP3Tag to change the genre of the files and then drag the files into the podcast section on the zune software.

We use one for my job all the time, like Man said you have to manually download them then change the tags then put them into the podcast section unfortunatly.

I have changed the tags, but as far as the dragging the file goes, when I try to do that all i get is that circle with the line through it, there is no where to drop it. I have tried to change the monitoring folder, and that is how i got it to work the first time, but its not picking the new ones up anymore.

OH OK!!! I got it now, i have to change the tag, then drag and drop it into the MUSIC section, not the podcast section. OMG, they need to fix this, but thanks for all of your help.
