Hi guys, here's my problem.
I use the ZuneMediaCollectionResetTool to clear my collection while I'm editing the metadata in Mp3tag, once done I 'reset collection', then load up Zune software, what it does now is reset my edited metadata to what I had before the edit... any fix for this? I've actually looked for the C:\Documents and Settings\"User"\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Zune folder, but it doesn't exist in any of my user account directories. I'm stumped, where is the data hidden so I can fully clear it? ![]() |

That's because those directories are hidden by default. Try putting your username in that path, then pasting it in the Start > Run box.

I managed to fix the problem, which was Mp3tag, which oddly enough the guide here recommends. But I switched to MusicBrainz Picard which does the job 10 times better. It has a built in album search that actually works, and groups the songs on its own into albums, etc, many good things. I recommend it to all having the same problems with grouping songs in Zune Software.
