Zune Software wont auto start

The Zune software is set to auto start when I plug in my device yet it won't. This makes connecting wirelessly impossible. If I start the software I can wireless sync no problem. Same with using a Sync cable. I want to be able to wireless sync but if the software wont open on its own its worthless. I looked through the possible Zune fixes and did some of the suggestions but it didn't help. Any know fixes to get the software to cooperate?

Running windows XP 32bit with SP3

The software wont open when I connect my device. This makes wireless syncing impossible. I'm running XP32bit with SP3.

A hopeful bump. I got the Software to finally start. The Zune says it's syncing and that it has finished but it doesnt truly sync.

Check your sync settings in the Zune software. You probably have it set to only sync music you manually add to the Zune. If that doesn't work, try selecting settings -> Device -> Erase All Content in the Zune software. That, along with the "Sync all" option on the same page, should force the software to sync everything.
