Default Zune software crashes on opening

Up until a few days ago my Zune Software worked just fine, today I went to sync some new music with it and was met with this:

Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: Zune.exe
Application Version: 2.5.447.0
Application Timestamp: 4817dd62
Fault Module Name: Indiv01_64.key
Fault Module Version: 11.0.6000.6324
Fault Module Timestamp: 47e5aec4
Exception Code: 40000015
Exception Offset: 0000000000107683
OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033
Additional Information 1: 5ce5
Additional Information 2: 17f6be12fac870711806f819bc7423d3
Additional Information 3: 41fc
Additional Information 4: 682a71fd75e75bce82e8b63995f9d72a

All I get is a white background which appears to be the program trying to load before this pops up. I'm running Vista Ultimate 64 and never had this happen before. I've tried everything to fix it and nothing works:

I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, uninstalling with Unzoone, tried installing the 32-bit version, installing from the old CD from the box, running in a different compatibility mode, cleaning out the registry everything.

The software program just doesn't want to work.

Any other suggestions?

Okay I'm not a tech genius or anything, but I used to own an Ipod and had the same problem. What happened was that I downloaded a corrupted file then loaded it up in Itunes which somehow messed it up pretty bad. If this is the case for you try searching for any corrupted files and then deleting them or maybe save a copy of all the files in your library and then re-install your software. Although again I know next to nothing about this stuff and I wouldnt try the latter unless someone else suggests it to
(I might be totally wrong!)

I'll try that but I can't think of anything else to clean out. Only thing I can think impacting this is I reformatted by 2nd HDD the other day and moved my entire library beforehand. But I don't think that causes a problem.

I had this problem too around twice

Basically the first time I needed to it work and it crashed like that, I just ran it on administrator and it worked afterward (on a xp machine, who knew?)

The second time I found this file that looked weird in the zune program files and I deleted it and it worked fine afterwards

it was some sort of .acm file soo look for something close to that. It should have some random numbers and letters

I have the same exact problem. The program flashes up for a split second, then I get the regular windows "Microsoft Zune has stopped working" message. Ironically, one time when this happened, Zune stayed running in the backgound, and by ignoring the error message I was able to click around on Zune and do normal Zune stuff like it was fine. Then as soon as I dismissed the error message the program crashed.

Prolly the same stuff, but here are the details:

Description:
Stopped working

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: Zune.exe
Application Version: 3.0.532.0
Application Timestamp: 48cb1987
Fault Module Name: ovlfwl.dll
Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0
Fault Module Timestamp: 2a425e19
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Offset: 00001ff2
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

I followed Bigbol's advice and "ran as administrator" and I also found the .acm file and deleted it, and both seemed to do absolutley nothing.

Anybody have a clue what to do?
