Updated genres, artists, album information from PC not syncing

This is seriously bugging me...I spent over 8 hours indexing all my songs and removing what I call the Unknown Artist/Album syndrome just to have it not update at all on my Zune. I plug it in and it doesn't update. Shouldn't it? How can I fix it without having to delete all my songs off my Zune and re-add them? Thanks for the help in advance..

do you have your zune set to "sync all" for your music?
