Default Zune Software's "Automatically Update Album Art and Metadata" Setting

Hey guys, I just bought the Zune 8 a few days ago and have been tinkering with the software moreso than my actual player. Anyway--quick question about the Zune software. Anyway, using the software, I set it to "Replace All Media Information" under the "Automatically Update Album Art and Metadata" setting. I'm semi-OCD when it comes to ID3 tags; I assumed that the software would automatically rewrite the ID3 tags for my MP3's but this isn't the case. Using the "Find Album Info" feature, I've found that some of my MP3 tracks are labeled incorrectly. I tell Zune to correct it for me--the correction shows up on the software, but not my ID3 tag. What's the deal? Any help would be great, thanks!

That's because the software only changes the info so it shows up like it should on the Zune and in the software. Alot of people here use MP3Tag to edit the tags, you might want to give it a shot.

I had the same problem! But after you edit the music on the zune software, you know what needs to be changed in your normal music files!
