question about collection.

why is it that you can have a various artists cd, each track shares the same album title but when you upload to the zune it lists each mp3 in its own album? to combat that i just change all of the artist tags to the name of the album but its so silly :/. is there any other way around that?

Not really. You can use WMP11 to do it for you but it will still just retag it for you the same way you have to manually do it. It's not really a Zune thing, it's a tag version thing and how the software uses it, a bunch of other software is even worse.
