[SOLVED] GeoId?

Up till to this point, my Zune software has always been working for me, allowing me to add music or photos or videos whenever I wanted to. Yesterday, I tried opening the Zune software, there was an error about a file called mscoree.dll. So I tried searching for it and dled it, placed it into my Zune folder, and I just had an error of something I really do not remember. Well, today, having uninstalled the Zune software, hours of looking up for help, I decided to come here. My problem right now is that I just downloaded SZip 2.5. I tried installing it. It got to a point where there was an error of "Writing system registry values." Heres what the error says.

"Error 1406.Could not write value InstallGeoId to key \SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Zune\Setup. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel."

If ANYONE, please knows the answer to my problem, PLEASE do tell! I just want my music onto my Zune.

Zune 30 GB
Windows XP (I'm pretty sure that its up to date)

Also, if I download the official Zune software, I still get an error of something like "Getrequestedruntime info" or some stuff like that. It also mentions the mscoree.dll.

Here's what I'll recommend:
1) Run unzoone: http://remove-it.org/tools/unzoone
2) Go to windows update and download all updates, required and optional: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
3) Reinstall using SZIP

OMFG IT WORKED!! I just reused UnZoone, then redownloaded the official Software, and reinstalled! Thanks Dizzy for helping me a bit.
