Default Zune Software- Cracking?

Subject says it all.

I know it's the software because when I play it through Windows Media Player it sounds just fine.

Anyone else experience this?

Yes, as a matter of fact, I do... Instant answers vs. forum posting.

However, I couldn't find anything with all the terms I tried.

Interesting...
You might want to download the K-lite Codec Pack and see if that helps at all: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...codec_pack.htm

Obviously I haven't tried it long- but it seems like it's definitely an improvement... I'll keep listening and see what it sounds like!

Surprising that Microsoft didn't have the correct Codecs... Especially when WMP works.

Definitely an improvement. However just little skips and whatnot here and there....

Any ideas on it?

So far TODAY I have been listening to everything through Windows Media Player. Definitely a difference.

Problem fixed... Found it here:
http://forums.zune.net/0/1/278801/ShowPost.aspx#278801

Shutting off the Video Enhancements INSTANTLY solved the problem.
