Artist Art instead of Album Art?

I don't like having my music sorted by album, so I removed all of the album info for the file so everything would show up alphabetically under the artist.

However, I'd still like to have art show up on the Zune while the songs are playing. I was wondering if there was a way to have a picture associated with all the songs by one artist, instead of album art for each album? I've tried pasting pictures in the Zune software using "Paste Album Art" and it saves the pictures on there, but they don't show up on the Zune.

Is there any way to manually go in and assign album art to each song?

Yeah you can just right click and add album art from a file.

On the track, or on the artist? I did that for the artist, and when I go to "Edit Track Info" on any of the songs it shows the picture as being associated with it, but they're not showing up on the Zune itself.

You could try using Wmp11, add the song into it, right click the tracks, choose advanced tag editor, go to pictures, click on add and then choose the pic, then click on the arrow under Library and choose apply media information, then remove the songs from the software and zune, and then re add the songs and re sync them to the zune.

On the song, right click it and add album art.
