2.5 wont install,error code 0x80070641?

It says the installer could not be accessed. How can i fix this?

I have sp2 but not .Net 3.0,but the same thing comes up when i try to install it.It actually comes up with everything i try to install lol.

I'm having the same problem on windows xp home. It says it can't access the zune-x86.msi because its on a network device that isn't accessible, even though it is on my local c drive. I even upgraded to sp3 thinking that might be the reason. Anyone figured this one out yet?

I installed xp sp3, dotnet 3.5, still no fix. I then used unzoone to uninstall zune sw, then I was able to install 2.5. I think the fix was the unzoone so give that a try.l
