Can't Install Zune 2.0??? HELP ME.....

i had installed the offline zune software "zunesetuppkg-x86" from the software section of zuneboards.

now when i connect my zune to my office pc it ask me to install driver for the same...... i m confused what driver is it asking me for???

plzzz help me out ppl..... i m in a deep mess.....

Have you tried ZSIP2

also if you can go online (i.e post on this board) why dont you just allow it to connect.

Also post in the help section next time.

sry 4 posting in d wrng section....well yes i had used zsip2 but its not detecting it.... and due to d company policy i cant update it via internet.....
in the device manager it says the devie cannot be installed with the error mesasge "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)"

wt shld i do????

Sweet talk your IT guy... but beyond that I'd say you're out of luck. If your company has your PC locked down (like they should) you're not going to be able to do what you need to do. My guess is that it's not detecting it because even though you are running the .exe for the drivers it's not going to let you install it because you might not have permissions to do so...

Just out of curiosity... why is this an urgent matter?

well yeah my bad luck dts y i m here luking 4 help..... actually i dun hav a pc @ home so i need to update my zune 4m office which is d lst option 4 me...... or else mah zune wil die w/o music :-( so ne idea hw 2 overcome dt???

ya im thinkin gregory has it right. i tryed doing the same thing on my dads computer for work cos its so fast, but the security shot it down

hi sorry for using slang language...i am not trying to break d company security policies here, but every body is accessing sites which they are not supposed to do and other stuff like that... atleast in my case i am not posing any threat to the company in any way i suppose..... i just want to upload songs in my zune, no more then that i require.

if you genius people can help me a way around i would be very thankful to you :-)
