Am I crazy? (Syncing changes and album art)

Maybe I am just dreaming, but I could swear when I first had my zune up and running, it used to sync any changes I made to tags/album art. For example, I might edit an album name or add album art and it would automatically detect these changes and update my Zune player. I don't see this happening anymore. Maybe I'm just making it up? I'd like to not have to re-sync everything since I just made album art and tag changes to 15000+ mp3 files.

I have the zune software set to NOT download album art/info and I have it set for manual sync (let me choose setting). This is a zune 80 with the latest firmware/software/windows updates. I have also manually rebuilt my library twice recently (past 2 months or so) by deleting the zune library file. Only changes made to the software would be the theme hacks for additional backgrounds and I was toying with the hex hack to force the software to use folder.jpg images but I have since converted back.

Which, btw, does that hex hack make the Zune software look for both zunealbum art AND folder or just folder?

Try running the collection reset tool. I have no clue about any hex hack.

Yeah I suggest doing what Greg said. Also can you post some info on the hex hack?? Or a link to where we can learn about it. Because if we knew more about it then we could solve your problem faster, unless running the collection reset tool solved it already.

I'm going to look further into the hex hack as I'm familiar with hex tools and have a programming background. I actually found the hack here on these boards:

id like to add i opened up the patched file from that program in a hex editor and it still incorporates the original zunealbumart search it seems.
