The Zune has completely changed the way I interact with media - I use its podcast feature to automatically download all the media I am interested in.
This works great, but doesn't handle well sites that host FLV video.
http://www.glumbert.com/feed/ is an example. I am looking for a solution that will allow me to subscribe to that feed, download the FLV files that are shown on the website and convert them to WMV (or MP4 or whatever) automatically. I want to point the utility (or set of utilities) to the RSS feed and it take care of the rest.
Now, there are manual solutions I could use now. There are plenty of utilities that you can point to a webpage (eg glumbert or youtube webpage) and they will download the FLV file (after working out where to get it from) and convert it to WMV for you. But this is too manual for me - I want the process to be as close to subscribing to a normal podcast/vodcast as possible.
Any suggestions?
