Default A\V Sync Problems

Hi, the videos I converted using Any Video Converter (Free) have audio way out of sync. The audio is lagging about a second behind what's happening in the video, and I can't really find a conversion setting to fix it. The source videos have a bitrate of 24 fps.

Thanks in advance.

There could be a few different problems making the audio out of sync.

1. Bad files - Flat up, if you haven't watched these videos before you converted them, they could very well be bad quality.

2. Bad Converter - Give another converter a try. Or try a few different free ones and see how they come out best. If you really want to strive for excellence, you might want to consider buying one(Not really necessary, there's so many good free ones out, you're probably fine) Take a look at Dizzy's freeware converters list and see what others might recommend.

I have a Creative Zen myself, and it comes with quite the nifty converter that I enjoy using.

I agree with mk1000, about the Bad COnverter part.
Ill send you a link for a better converter that i use and have premium performance and a low rate of failure

Happy Zuning,

Never mind I fixed the problem. I was using the Xilisoft converter before and it worked pretty well, but the sound was very tinny so I tried switching to other software. I fixed it by switching to a different codec (WMV 8x) instead of the default one.

Hopefully it will take care of the sync issues too.
