Zune sync symbol not showing in library for synced tracks

I have an issue where only half of my tracks that are on my zune actually show up in the library as synced (with sync symbol). The others are blank in that column even though they have been added to the zune. I have tried adding specific songs individually, adding to the sync list, adding entire albums, and other ways, and nothing makes every track I add show up as synced (only random tracks get the symbol). All tracks have been added on the home designated computer and while being logged in (not guest).

Any idea whats going on?
