Well every time i delete something from my computer it gets deleted from my Zune, so i was wondering if there is a way to protect the files that are on my Zune, i think this is really annoying because some people need some free memory on their computers

Just set your Zune to guest mode.
Settings>Device> Forget This Device At the popup choose Guest.

Or you don't have the Zune Software monitoring your files.

My advice is what Gregory said, simply do it each time you sync. MOVED.

It means that the Zune software monitors folders (that you can define) for additions or deletions of videos, music, photos, and podcasts.
If you delete a song in the folder, it says, "Okay they do not want the song, so I will remove it from the Zune as well." Now if you put a video on something like your desktop, drag it into the Zune program, sync it, then delete it from your unmonitored place (in this example your desktop) the software does not know you deleted it because it never monitors it. Therefor it will not delete it from your Zune but you can remove it from you computer. I just use the desktop because you see it all the time and you will not forget about it. Plus its right there and easy to drag and drop into the Zune software.
