Question Zune Software with Proxy Server

I have the Zune software installed on my work laptop and we have a proxy server that needs to be accessed to get to the Internet. It is setup in my IE settings but my Zune software never uses it. What do I do?

I don't believe the Zune can support proxy's. You might need to invest in software that reroutes all your connections through the said proxies.

If you're paranoid, MS isn't going to go after you for illegal music.

I am not really paronoid, it would be nice to download podcasts while I am at work so I don't have to fire up my pc at home.

Can you just connect your Zune to your work computer?
You can connect as a guest and download podcasts that way

My Zune software cannot get to the Net from work, I would have to download them manually then import them as a mp3 file. If you do that you can't fast forward through the podcast. Oh well, I am sure they will fix that in the next build.

If you change the genre of an mp3 to "Podcast", the software will register it as a podcast even though it's an mp3
