Videos constantly renaming themselves?

Hey, I apologize is this is question has been asked and then answered 1,000 times, I just found this board and it's amazing.

It seems every other time I open the Zune software, some of my videos decide to rename themselves after another video in "my collection".

Example of two of my videos:

NHL - Ilya Kovalchuk Tribute.mp4
NHL - Marian Gaborik.mp4

After a few opens, it seems that "NHL - Marian Gaborik.mp4" will rename itself to "NHL - Ilya Kovalchuk Tribute.mp4"

does it rename it self when you look at the file in windows explorer?

No, but I noticed it's actually been renamed (I'm guessing by the Zune software) and the title has been changed (The file name remains "NHL - Marian Gaborik.mp4", but the title is now "NHL - Ilya Kovalchuk Tribute.mp4")

try taking the NHL part off and see how it goes, BTW do you have a new zune or an 30? because 30s do not support mp4.

Try converting it to WMV file.

What would I change? I'm using MP3Tag, and everything seems to be in order.

I have a Z80, by the way.

yeah that happened to me as well, my Superbad Unrated movie, (which i got from this forum) changed itself to Talladega Nights...

yeah same thing has happened to me but they turn out right when I sync em to my zune

Hum. Must be a pretty common software bug then. I'm curious if rebuilding the library helps at all.
